Hyatt House Dallas Addison Hotel, Addison

My stay at the Hyatt House Dallas/Addison was wonderful overall. The rooms were clean and lovely, although there was a faint smell of old cigarette smoke initially. The service was top-notch, with the staff being extremely courteous and professional. The location was excellent, right in the center of a bustling area with plenty of dining and entertainment options. The dining experience was satisfying, especially with the hearty breakfast offerings. The facilities were well-kept, making my stay very comfortable and enjoyable.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The rooms were nice and clean except for the dirty windows, and I particularly appreciated the two full beds. However, there were issues with the handicap room design, making it hard for the bedroom door to open fully, and the shower was not well-designed. The location was great for my needs, just a short drive to places I wanted to visit, but the surroundings were not well-maintained, with litter around. The dining experience was enjoyable with a variety of options, especially the omelettes cooked to order, but it could get a bit repetitive for longer stays. The service was a bit of a hit or miss; while some staff members were very friendly and helpful, others seemed rushed and did not clean the room properly during my stay.

Staying at Hyatt House Dallas was like having my own entire apartment with big and nice rooms that come fully equipped with pots, pans, and silverware. The service was exceptional, especially accommodating my request for a bottom floor as a Disabled Veteran. The location was superb despite some cleanliness issues in certain areas. The dining experience was delightful with plenty of delicious options, including a complimentary breakfast.
